André Lafetá é um artista visual brasileiro cuja prática se desdobra em pintura, instalação, cerâmica e intervenção urbana desde 1984.
Seu trabalho investiga a casa, a memória, o trânsito entre o íntimo e o público — operando entre o objeto, o gesto e o lugar. Da “Casa Materna” aos “Coisários”, das “Sofias” ao “Labirintório”, suas séries são camadas de uma mesma pesquisa: o que se forma quando o cotidiano se deixa atravessar pelo símbolo.
Expôs em São Paulo, Brasília, Campinas, Rio, Lisboa, Guimarães, Paris e Nova York. Tem obras em acervos públicos e privados, entre eles o MAB Brasília, MACC José Pancetti e Rio Sul Linhas Aéreas.
